American Cancer Society
Axiom REACH provided urgent housing and operating support for Hope Lodge.
Hope Lodge is a facility that has served as a free place to stay for cancer patients who must travel to access their treatments. When Hope Lodge NYC was forced to close due to COVID-19, Axiom REACH provided urgent funding for the ACS Hotel Partners Program. This critical support enabled three families, who had traveled to find their best hope of effective treatment, to remain in New York City and to be housed in nearby hotels.

Transportation to treatment and medical appointments
The University Hospital of New Jersey first launched an initiative in 2019 to help reduce the number of patients missing treatments and other health appointments due to a lack of transportation. Despite its success, the program needed additional funds to continue. Axiom REACH provided a grant of $10,000 to provide 800 patient rides and to help restart this important program in partnership with UberHealth.
